You have been subscribed to a public bug: I'm working on a deployment of Ubuntu 10.04 LTSP and the thin clients we have are WYSE C90 series, C90LE and C90LEW. These thin clients have a VIA VX855 chipset.
When the thin client PXE boots the video is all messed up and where the login screen should be it's just a bunch of lines going up or down. I've uploaded a youtube video of what it looks like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlGrX-nWubo So I've tried upgrading the openchrome and installed via package available here: https://launchpad.net/~atomo64/+archive/ppa/+packages Based on svn revision 856 of the openchrome source tree. Still NOGO. This is a very important bug, I will do whatever needed and within my ability to get this fixed. Thanks! ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-openchrome (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed ** Tags: via vx855 wyse -- [VX855] Ubuntu 10.04 LTSP not working (WYSE C90 series) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/619942 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-openchrome in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
