The GPU appears to be locking up during boot but the kernel is able to successfully reset it and carry on. However, the crash still throws an event, which apport catches and does a bug report on.
This looks a LOT like bug #702090 where the vesafb kernel driver was loaded initially and causes the hang, but then gets ejected when the kernel switches to DRM. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/711275 Title: [gm45] GPU lockup (EIR: 0x00000010) during boot - EIR stuck: 0x00000010, masking _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
