Public bug reported:
Nvidia proprietary dirvers in Natty repos (nvidia-current v. 260.19.29) do not
support the latest xserver 1.10 rc2 in Natty repos.
So please upgrade the nvidia-current to the latest beta (version 270.29) to get
the support for this X 1.10 rc2.
This driver is available from X Updates PPA and it works very well with the
most recent Natty fully upgraded.
