Similar issue here. Often, applications freeze and I have to kill them (qtcreator for example). Sometimes, it is even worse and the whole system freezes and I need to reboot.
After a system freeze, I tried to use CTRL+ALT+Fx then check dmesg and Xorg log but there was nothing strange in those.
