Currently I use Kubuntu 10.10, installed a few versions ago and upgraded then
on a "normal" pc monitor. Then I connected a Samsung TV via VGA Port and work
with full hd. Now I tryed to boot different versions of linux (Suse 11.4,
Ubuntu, Kubuntu (11.04), KDE Live etc etc.) and not one of them is able to boot
in a resulution witch is supportetd from that samsung monitor. Shortly after
booting the installer display showes only "not supported mode" so I am not able
continue to finish installation.
again: everything works fine in running kubuntu 10.10 but I dont want to change
monitor every time I want to boot from cd.
