Linux-image-2.6.31-020631rc3-generic This image runs black-screen right after boot start. Recovery mode: all text boot to console and if I enter "exit" this Linux-image boots normal to login and I can use karmic koala.
Linux-image-2.6.31-020631rc2-generic The image is installed and I can find it in synaptic however not on list grub.cfg or the grub-boot-menu so can not test. My window version xp is on karmic koala list grub.cfg but not on grub- boot-menu so to start windows I have to edit grub-boot-menu at start. Up to now all karmic koala Linux-images takes about 4 minutes to load hardware drivers, long boot time. Karmic koala "gedit" crashes all the time so I use Ubuntu version 9.04 for viewing karmic koala file-system. I am running Linux-image-2.6.31-020631rc3-generic with this post.
