I have a other monitor now. A newer one. Guess what this one works great :). My guess is that the HDMI standard on the monitor is not compatible with the way implemented in Ubuntu. If there is anyone interested i still have the old monitor working under windows and i am willing to help / test fixing this.
For me its not that interesting for now as i have a working monitor now :).
