Google have blacklisted all of the ATI/AMD open-source drivers in Chrome/Chromium's WebGL implementation. In fact even when it comes to the closed source drivers, the first version of the proprietary ATI/AMD Catalyst (fglrx) driver that they have not blacklisted is Catalyst 11.12.
