alt+print screen key + k 
should kill x.org
instead, on my precise PC with catalyst drivers installed, it appears to crash 
the video card, so I get a black screen and nothing else.

to reproduce this issue, install catalyst drivers,  type alt+print
screen +k  (all 3)
