Ubuntu better. If your using a laptop touchpad, please execute the following 
command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect 780770

As well, please provide all relevant attachments noted in:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingTouchpadDetection . In addition, could
you please post a recording of this problem via recordmydesktop?

If your using a USB mouse, please change the Package to 
xserver-xorg-input-mouse and then execute the following command, as it will 
automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect 780770

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingMouseDetection . In addition, could you
please post a recording of this problem via recordmydesktop?
