@flowermachine Are you using a wireless keyboard? And can you please add your xorg.conf? I search Googled for this problem too and it seems related at first, but people could solve it by adding locale settings to 10-evdev.conf or xorg.conf. I tried both proposed solutions, but it didn't work so I'll keep the bug on Ubuntu and let users select a different distribution if that happens to be the case. Also, are you suggesting I should add the xserver-xorg package to the bug?
