Hi Mike, Please capture the input properties of your headset input device (your headset is acting as an input device because it has buttons). After plugging in your headset, follow https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Multitouch/Testing/uTouchEvEmu#Debugging. You only need to perform steps 1, 2, and 5, the rest can be skipped for this bug. When it asks you to find your multitouch device, look for your headset instead. Once you have a device.prop file for your headset, attach it to this bug.
Also, please attach the output of xinput list --long when the headset is plugged in.
