I saw this problem in the recent xorg-edgers, and just purged the ppa, too. The ppa page has this issue listed now, at https://launchpad.net /~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa :
July 13th: Mesa currently has problems with unity where the launcher icons are invisible, it's suggested to hold mesa back to the 0529 version, stop using this PPA, or use another session such as gnome or unity-2d until it is fixed. So, they're aware of it. But I don't really know whether the maintainers would prefer to keep or close this bug report. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1025621 Title: [xorg-edgers] unity problem after upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1025621/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
