[What other bug? I have two different pieces of hardware, and have experienced and reported very different screen corruptions for the two under 13.04].
This one is about a netbook Eee PC: I'm attaching a photograph. In the recent versions, that rectangular blog moves around with mousing, but it seems there are no windows left in memory. (Thjat is, I had a window open with a shutdown command ready to go, but pressing enter after reawakening into the corrupted display did not execute the command.) No, with full updates, the problem remains as of now. ** Attachment added: "corrupt display" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-modesetting/+bug/1157488/+attachment/3588044/+files/2013-03-21-083227.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-modesetting in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1157488 Title: After 13.04 "upgrade", waking from sleeping results in corrupt X Window system: requires reboot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-modesetting/+bug/1157488/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
