Corrections to my previous post: installing 12.04.3 I got kernel 3.8, not 3.2, so I saw glitches in 12.04.3 with 3.8. Now I installed a 12.04.0 then after a dist-upgrade I got kernel 3.2-58. I installed also images for 3.5.0-45, 3.8.0-35 and 3.11.0-15. Using each of these kernels I can't see glitches in dash but I experience instabilities in xorg when using glmark2 or sometimes even using glxgears -fullscreen. I checked the video card for defects using winxp + nvidia drivers + furmark and seems all ok. I'll try to ask to freedesktop team, is this a problem in the 2D driver or in the 3D/OpenGL driver Mesa? Thanks for your help.
