I can't say I've formally tested for this particular bug on anything
except 13.10 and 14.04 that I just did the other day. I have been using
the notebook continuously since 10.10 I believe and update to the latest
roughly 1-2 months after each release. This is the first time I see the
bug. I hope that's clearer. I'm fairly sure it was only introduced in
13.10, I may reinstall a 13.04 disc soonish to confirm my hypothesis.

To summarize in table form:
10.10 - 13.04 -> Pretty sure this bug doesn't present. Though not formally 
tested, just by memory.
13.10 -> Has bug.
14.04 -> Too unstable to test. Will try again later.
