Public bug reported:

Description: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Release: 14.04

apt-cache policy xserver-xorg-input-mouse
xserver-xorg-input-mouse:
  Installed: 1:1.9.0-1build1
  Candidate: 1:1.9.0-1build1
  Version table:

What I expected was: Single Click.
What happens: Mouse double clicks.

Randomly the mouse responds with two mouse clicks when I click only
once. this happens in both left click and right click buttons but middle
button is ok. this problem happens during some time, then it disappears,
then It comes back. I have this problem less in Ubuntu 14.04 but its
still as bad as I can't for example easily select a text as its getting
double clicks when I'm just holding left click down! also I should
mention that mouse is working right in another OSes.
