@ staticint (0xa5) I am having the same issue with ubuntu 14.04 running gnome, though my mouse is the Cyborg RAT 9. This mouse isnt outdated as it is. So far the only work around is unplugging and plugging back in. But sometimes it happend more often so i have to reboot.
