Before describing the bug, let me give you the hardware specifics:

Chip: Intel 946 Gz
I'm using Kubuntu Karmic BETA with Kubuntu desktop. Sometimes, after
playing game (for example, Openarena), listening to Music, I experience
a total loss of sound. Then suddenly X freezes. A freeze mean that the
screen goes blank and only going to console and killing it with killall
startkde restarts the system.
Since this probably falls into the cathegory General Xorg bug, I'm
attaching the Xorg.log file.

How complete is the X failure?
+ Does ctrl+alt+f1 take you to a console? - YES!
+ Does ctrl+alt+backspace restart X? - NO!
+ Does mouse pointer still move? - YES
+ Does the keyboard LED come on when hitting the CAPSLOCK key? - INCONFIRMED,
will confirm when needed
+ Can you ssh into the system from another computer? YES
