Since people haven't been including their Xorg.0.log's it's impossible
to say whether people actually are seeing the same bug or not.  "Hangs
before login" is kind of a generic symptom that could be caused by any
number of different underlying issues.

Focusing on the original reporter's issue, the Xorg.0.log shows that
this is an X crash involving the -nvidia driver.  Unfortunately the log
does not show the actual backtrace, just "Backtrace:".  Christopher,
you'll need to collect a manual backtrace - see
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Backtracing for details.  I'm not sure that
apport will be able to collect it in this case, you may need to get it
with gdb.
