The patch by jkampe68 (#109) did it for me. Here is my flow chart: Downloaded the xfce4-settings_4.12.0.orig.tar.bz2 (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/primary/+files/xfce4-settings_4.12.0.orig.tar.bz2) and unpacked it.
Saved the Patch by jkampe68 (http://bug- attachment.xfce.org/attachment.cgi?id=6590) as .patch file. Navigated to xfce4-settings-4.12.0-orig/xfsettingsd/ and used the patch command to patch the displays.c file. Now "./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc" until all dependencies were fulfilled. Garcon can be found here: https://mirror.netcologne.de/xfce/src/xfce/garcon/0.5/garcon-0.5.0.tar.bz2 "make" "sudo make install" Now the /usr/bin/xfsettingsd was replaced and everything worked well after reboot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1308105 Title: Xfce resets TV mode to NULL when power cycled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mythbuntu/+bug/1308105/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
