I could encode successfully with all compatible VAAPI encoders on Skylake: V..... h264_vaapi H.264/AVC (VAAPI) (codec h264) V..... hevc_vaapi H.265/HEVC (VAAPI) (codec hevc) V..... mjpeg_vaapi MJPEG (VAAPI) (codec mjpeg) V..... mpeg2_vaapi MPEG-2 (VAAPI) (codec mpeg2video) V..... vp8_vaapi VP8 (VAAPI) (codec vp8)
Only VP9 I can't test, as Skylake can't encode it purely on hardware (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/intel-vaapi- driver/+bug/1591714). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to intel-vaapi-driver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1751492 Title: VAAPI encoding is broken in Skylake To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/intel-vaapi-driver/+bug/1751492/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
