Same here. My syslog fills up of "Thunar.desktop[3491]: [00007f0ee436b700] vdpau_chroma filter error: video mixer features failure: An invalid handle value was provided." lines at a rate of hundreds of MB per minute, until the system partition is entirely full.
If I do "sudo truncate -s 0 /var/log/syslog", then I have a few minutes during which I can send emails again, for example, but other than that, the system partition is 100% full and many operations are therefore impossible. This started happening after I bought a slightly less antiquated GPU for my comp. The NVidia X server setting app shows no problem, though. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers-418 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1846374 Title: Having a video playing/paused when switched to another user generates gigabytes of error logs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-418/+bug/1846374/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
