Installed the newer driver, but am still seeing hangs. Doesn't seem to take any very specific activity to do it. Can happen while typing email in Evolution, or when I resize a pane in Rhythmbox. Saw an article in Computerworld suggesting reverting the driver to an earlier version. Is this a possibility? I like everything else about my karmic release.
