For some tests I've changed /etc/X11/xorg.conf to use the "vesa" driver instead
of the working nvidia one.
After the system boot the X11 screen was not shown properly (as if it was a
larger virtual screen) so I've reverted back to nvidia and have restarted just
kdm.
As a consequence all KDE 3.5.10 user-settings (window decorations, fonts etc.
but not the style) got substituted with the default ones.
All previous reboots and logouts have behaved properly.
I'm running KUbuntu 8.04 LTS.
