We've uploaded a new -nouveau to Lucid which should no longer be
experiencing this problem. At least, I have not seen this severe
performance issue myself. If you still experience it on Lucid, please
feel free to reopen this bug report, but I'd like to see some solid
numbers using a 3D game or cairoperf
