@Thomas Schweikle: Please test the mainline linux kernel for 2.6.32.6. The Ubuntu 2.6.32-10 kernel is based on 2.6.32.2, while the 2.6.32-9 kernel is based on 2.6.32.1. If the .2 kernel is broken, but the .1 kernel is not, then we can try to figure out what broke between them. If the .2 kernel works but the Ubuntu 2.6.32-10 kernel does not, then we can try to figure out what broke between 2.6.32-9 and 2.6.32-10.
