Looks like I spoke to soon. Fedora 12 is having similar problems too. @madbiologist: Does the driver you are speaking of need compiled first, in order to be installed? xf86-video-intel 2.11.0 RC1 (v2.10.901) -- found the links, but it appears to be just source?
Briefly tried compiling, didn't work, so I gave up. Is there some other way I can get this, or install this?
