Hi Christophe, does the issue still happen when not using gnome-shell?
I notice seb moved the bug here from there so I gather he expects its a
general driver issue. If so, it should be possible to reproduce it
outside of gnome-shell.
It would also be helpful if you could test this against lucid as well,
since at this point we're tending not to work too much on non-lucid bug
reports unless a fix has already been identified for them.
