I have this bug too in Lucid. Running Wine with
LIBGL_DRIVERS_PATH=/usr/lib32/dri fixes the problem. I have this problem
with QuickTime Alternative.
$ uname -m
x86_64
$ uname -r
2.6.32-16-generic
$ apt-cache policy wine1.2
wine1.2:
Installed: 1.1.40-0ubuntu2
Candidate: 1.1.40-0ubuntu2
