Binary package hint: xorg
On my Sony Vaio S11C5E (with Intel Core i5, Nvidia GeForce 310M with an
installed ang well working Ubuntu 9.10) I can't boot a Ubuntu Lucid
Live-CD. When I select 'Try Ubuntu without changes on the sytem' first I
see a black display, but no boot splash screen. Then I see a distorted
picture of the 'Vaio-Start'-picture, but I don't see the graphical
Desktop.
