New info: it worked with an external monitor with 1280x1024 resolution. The first monitor i've tried used 1680x1050, and perhaps was pushing the netbook's onboard video card too far... As there are some new updates, I'll try again connecting with the 1680x1050 monitor, but I'll only be at that place tomorrow, and will report here the result.
