I am also experiencing the symptoms this bug describes. I'm currently running a fully updated Lucid system with 1:6.13.0-1ubuntu5 of the ati/radeon open source driver. If I switch to a virtual tty, kill compiz, then switch back to my X session and restart compiz, functionality is restored. Bryce, would you like me to run an apport- collect on this bug?
