I have tried evtouch driver with egalax few weeks ago and it was not working. The most efficient way is to install the egalax driver from here http://home.eeti.com.tw/web20/drivers/touch_driver/Linux/20100120/eGalaxTouch-3.00.3719-32b-k26.tar.gz
