Alright - I I revisited the above link and saw that the apport will not run in lucid and went to th X freeze testing for intel graphics link and followed all of the commands that I could ( what is ssh ? - I looked it up in the man pages but I am not sure how remote access works on a frozen display.) Anyway I have a debug directory ready to attach; but to what I am not sure.
