Bryce, I must apologize for the very delayed answer... And yes, the bug occurs on Lucid. There is even more problems I've already reported (please, take a close look at this bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video- ati/+bug/578224).
