@ledzepjes: I really can't reproduce the problem with the latest fglrx in -updates and upgrading from a fresh Karmic with both proprietary drivers and Ubuntu package installed. Could you please file another report with the command "ubuntu-bug fglrx" and attach the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ from your upgrade from karmic. Add a comment here with the bug number.
