You have been subscribed to a public bug: When hovering over taskbar entries in latest KDE 4.5 in Kubuntu Maverick the thumbnails generated by the corresponding desktop effect are mirrored (upside down). According to the KDE developers this is an issue with my graphics driver; which is the stock radeon driver shipped with Ubuntu xorg packages.
