Sorry, the -dbgsym packages are also broken. I'd suggest you reinstall the -dbg packages, and "hot-fix" them for this purpose with: sudo objcopy -R .gnu_debuglink --add-gnu-debuglink=/usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/dri/r300_dri.so /usr/lib/dri/r300_dri.so sudo objcopy -R .gnu_debuglink --add-gnu-debuglink=/usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/mesa/libGL.so.1.2 /usr/lib/mesa/libGL.so.1.2
