Hi people, I'd like to make some observations. - first: like I said in #10 and was confirmed in #22 that unusual effect in a hack of xscreensaver called pinion. The procedure described in #30 doesn't fix that glitch in pinion screensaver.
- second: the procedure in #30 doesn't fix googleearth if you are using composite in metacity (*). (*) to enable composite in metacity: gconftool-2 -s '/apps/metacity/general/compositing_manager' --type bool true So #30 it's a workaround not a fix/solution for the bug. Can somebody confirm it?
