Since i started getting affected by Bug #626743 due to xserver-xorg- video-ati updates , i downgraded those and retried Sarvatt's ppa.
With mesa 7.9 Unity does not load, but i rather get a white page and nothing else. If i run $ metacity --replace it does not work either But if i run $ CLUTTER_VBLANK=none mutter --replace I'm able to use mutter [mesa 7.9 ].
