I am facing this issue since couple of builds. The UI seems to be great
when defaulted to nouveau driver. I installed the latest nvidia-current
driver and after reboot, the panels lose their theme color and cannot be
set as well as the menu. I think the theme is defaulted to basic ones
however compiz effects work for me.
