** Description changed: 1) Ubuntu 9.04 2) sorry, not sure and it doesn't always happen which is why I'm reporting 3) run Synaptic, OOWriter maximized in a workspace; close app; use my custom keybindings (ALT+N) or default (CTL+ALT+arrow) to switch workspace 4) fail; have to use mouse to navigate to pager applet and click workspace, after which all is win - My apologies for not being more helpful. I'm only using GNOME instead of - Fluxbox to try to keep up with Ubuntu's defaults as a team player but - GNOME's underthings get bunched up in ways I can't understand.
