I have installed Ubuntu 10.10rc using Universal USB Installer from
Windows.
My IBM Thinkpad R52 has a 1400x1050 screen, but Ubuntu set it to 1600x900.
By that, it was impossible to reach the menus in the upper left screen corner.
Only the tail of "System" menu was reachable, so I could change the resolution
in the settings.
