Compiling TVTime from source (which is a chore in itself) has resolved the issue for me. No more keyboard mapping events reported by xev and no more sticky Shift_L issues. I don't know if that resolves all your reported issues, but it seems to have resolved mine.
If compiling from source have a look at dependencies at http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/tvtime (or whatever release you're using). For me, I missed libxv1 so while it would compile it would report no X support (and not run). -- shift key get stuck randomly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/588473 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-keyboard in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
