Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-evdev
My laptop has a multi-touch touchscreen (usb hid device: ID 2087:0b03) with
Ubuntu 10.04. The touchscreen don't work at all, also with the compiled module.
i've try the 10.10rc only for that, the touchscreen is detected and the module
hid_cando is load. But evdev use it as touchpad (a big touchpad :-) ) i've try
with the evtouch driver but the result was the same. I've try the "Option
"Mode" "Absolute"" in xorg, But nothing better.
My system is update and clean (i have install it 3 days ago).
