Here is a new kind of report tool, that takes advantage of the work we've done tagging the -intel bugs, allowing us to sort them by chipset and symptom:
http://www2.bryceharrington.org:8080/X/symptoms_intel.html Note you can click on the column headings to sort. Try clicking Chip and then Symptom to get a symptom-oriented view of things, or Symptom and then Chip for a chipset-oriented view. Where this report is useful is to help identify possible dupes. Two bugs with the same chipset and same symptom have a decent chance of being the same root bug. But take care to review in detail; often there can be subtle differences. This report utilizes the symptom tags the Ubuntu-X team decided on, and have documented at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Tagging - I've gone ahead and applied tags for a bunch of bugs, but you'll notice a fair number of bugs still lack a tag for their symptom. I'd appreciate someone to go through and fix those up manually. This report is not automatically generated; ping me if you'd like it refreshed. I'll probably stick it in cron eventually.
