Ok thanks for the heads up. Bluetooth *might* bundled together there as well, still working on the details. In this case if we stuff those 4 symbols in could go into compat.ko. I'd even consider stuffing Nouveau but am not sure of the other module dependencies that this has. Is just upgrading the drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau module sufficient? What about the drm modules? What about a backport of radeon as well? In any case I'll likely start basing my compat stuff off of linux-next which should get me not only wireless-testing but also b44 updates as well as bluetooth (and if this approach is welcomed maybe video).
