Thanks for packaging up the patch, I've gone ahead and uploaded it. Fwiw, I think we'll probably get the fix anyway with the new mesa 7.10 upload which should hit in the next week or two, but this will be handy for validating the fix. There's been no shortage of complaints about unity corruption on ati which this hopefully should quell.
