Hi, Any chance of Nvidia latest drivers 310.19 packaged for Quantal and/or Precise?
We have recently purchased a bunch of new desktops (I know, no one uses desktop computers anymore) equipped with the Gigabyte GT 610 discrete PCI cards and the performance is horribly bad under Kubuntu 12.10: choppy desktop, delays when typing in a konsole terminal, etc. Disabling all desktop & Qt effects does not help at all. I have tried all "current" and "experimental" packages available in the standard repositories as well as in x-updates PPA and none of them showed any improvements. Nvidia answer of course was "please download install the latest driver version from our site".
